Lifelong Animal Protection Charity

LAP, Lifelong Animal Protection Charity is a volunteer-based & no-kill organization. Founded in 2003 by Sheila McClelland, LAP exists to help animals in distress in Hong Kong. We provide shelter and care for rescued companion animals, and work to match them with loving lifelong homes.

Our Vision

House and care for rescued and unwanted companion animals in a no-kill environment
Support rescued animals until they find their permanent homes
Provide care with compassion
Educate a new compassionate generation
Promote responsible pet care
To speak up for the rights, value and welfare of animals.
