ABOUT US
Make-A-Wish Foundation® Singapore’s mission is to create life-changing wishes for children with critical illnesses. It is our goal to grant a wish to every medically eligible child in Singapore. Working towards that are over 200 volunteers, 8 board members and 9 staff. Our combined efforts, coupled with the support of our generous and much-valued sponsors and supporters bring us closer to that goal every day.
Wish Eligibility
If the child is Singaporean or Permanent Resident within our community, between the ages of 3 and 18 and has a critical medical condition then he or she will be eligible for a wish.

In Singapore
Since our inception in 2002, we have granted over 1,500 transformational wishes. As a charity with Institution of Public Character status, the Foundation’s funds are used for Singaporeans or children permanently residing (PR) in Singapore. We have recently included children who are on dependent passes with their families living within our community.
Fundraising
As a non-profit organisation, we are constantly seeking to raise more funds so that we can grant 100 - 120 wishes each year and meet our goal of reaching every medically eligible child in Singapore. Each year, we need about $ 2 million to grant the wishes of these children with critical illnesses. As a member of National Council of Social Service, we adhere to the governance fundraising guidelines.
Volunteers
Volunteers are the heart and soul of the organization. Without their commitment, creativity and passion, we would not be able to create that “once in a lifetime” experience for our wish children. Volunteers help us by providing support in the areas of Fundraising and Development such as organizing fundraising activities or volunteering at such events, or Office Administrative, and other works.
