Hello, I went to visit a sister who is admitted to the hospital. I stayed with her for about five days. While at the hospital, I encountered two sisters in the canteen. The older sister, around 12 years old, was carrying her younger sister, who was about one and a half years old. I greeted them and asked about their parents. The older sister tearfully revealed that their father had passed away, and their mother was in the ICU. When I inquired about other family members, she sadly replied that they had no one else. Tragically, their mother also passed away the day before. My parents and I did whatever we could to assist them. They have been staying with my family since then. Upon discussing their future, my father and uncle suggested they be placed in an orphanage, but upon seeing their faces, I proposed adopting them. However, my family expressed concerns about affording their education and other needs. Therefore, I am reaching out for help to make their dreams come true. Let's come together and contribute whatever small amount we can to support them in their journey.

If you knew Fisa you know that she always had a smile, a big hug, a positive thing to say. If you were sad she was there to cheer you up. Her joyful spirit of generosity was there for all to see and her Grade 5 Exhibition was about helping children in need. To honour her memory her family has requested donations to Make-A-Wish Foundation (Singapore). A charity that does exactly what Fisa did, bring a smile to the face of those who need it most. As a group of early childhood educators, we come into contact with children frequently. We have seen many different lives in children and we hope to help those who are less privileged.
