It has been 7 years since I have visited my homeland of Nigeria. I would love to go home to reconnect with beloved family and friends, but especially, as the eldest child I have a duty to settle the affairs of my mother, who passed away a few years ago. I was not able to go home when she died.
As I don't earn a salary in my role as Catering Manager at Crossroads, I am reaching out to ask for help from my community of friends, to be able to make this trip.
I have calculated that I would need around HK$25,000 (US$3,000) for the expenses surrounding this trip.
