It has been 7 years since I have visited my homeland of Nigeria. I would love to go home to reconnect with beloved family and friends, as well as pay respects to my mother who passed away in recent years. I was not able to go home when she died. 

As I don't earn a salary in my role as catering manager at Crossroads, I am reaching out to ask for help from my community of friends, to be able to make this trip. 

I have calculated that I would need around US$3,000 for the expenses surrounding this trip. 

I truly appreciate any gift you are able to give, and I am thankful for all of you.
