My superhero husband/father/grandfatherMy superhero (dad) was diagnosed with Young Onset Lewy Body Dementia plus Parkinson since the first symptoms which emerged 14 years ago. Despite the obstacles, he remains jovial and optimistic especially around his family and friends. Given his medical condition, he had no choice but to leave his previous employment and up till today, he is unemployed. His caregiver (my mum) is a full time housewife and takes great pride in ensuring that my dad is well taken care of. In spite of the medical subsidies given, they still had to bear a large amount of medical cost for his hospital consultations with the specialist, treatments and the medications.   As we celebrate Grandparents Day, we would like to seek for your support and kind donation to Alzheimer's Disease Association (ADA). A little donation goes a long way in helping ADA to help and assist the dementia community. With that, I would like to personally thank you for your donation.

Alzheimer’s Disease has a huge effect not just on an individual but on the family and caregivers over an extended term. My family has been directly affected by a loved one with dementia and I’m sure most if not all of us have been impacted at some time – making this a great cause to get behind! Thank you for your kind support for this excellent cause and thanks to Hogan Lovells Lee & Lee for the invitation to participate in this event!

Hi my name is Raviin and this is my second year as a Sundown With Love Ambassador(SDWL). It’s my privilege and honour to give back to the community who has given me much support as an athlete over the recent years. As an SDWL Ambassador, I am pledging my support to the Alzheimer’s Disease Association not only to help them, but also to increase the awareness of this mental condition. As a psychology graduate myself who researches in mental health issues, I am doing this not only acknowledge the efforts of the Alzheimer’s patients in fighting the condition, but also to recognize the hard work of their care-givers.
