PKKUM provides a spectrum community-friendly clinic to women of high risk in the Chow Kit area. our regular services include HIV screening, Hep C screening plus syphilis. the district health department provides all 0f these test kits to us at no charge. They are aligned with the HIV national strategic plan 2030.
Unfortunately, most of the high-risk women in chow kit need more services such as pregnancy test kits, mammograms, pap smears, blood pressure checks, diabetes checks, and evening primrose oil. we do not have any funding for these and therefore we are organizing this fundraising we appeal to the public for donations to enable us to purchase these items to provide for the high-risk minority community. since most are foreigners and getting clinical treatment is not possible, PKKUM wants to provide service to these women. normally we will refer the locals to a government health clinic and the foreigners to the SUCI Foundation clinic.
