Because elephants can't speak for themselves. Ok, that's all.

My Story

Hello fabulous people, as with tradition, to balance the karma I've accumulated from all the bitching, shade throwing and eye rolling I've done this past year, it is my annual fundraiser in conjunction with my fabulous 33rd birthday. This year, I've decided to do good for one of my most favourite animals ever -- the majestic and ever so graceful elephants -- through EARS (Elephant Asia Rescue and Survival Foundation). Launched in Hong Kong in 2010, the foundation promotes the plight of the Asian elephant and also strives to educate everyone of us on responsible tourism. Learn more at www.earsasia.org.

More than 100 elephants are killed each day all over the world, be it in Africa or right here in Asia. Here are some devastating images that you need to see to believe: https://www.instagram.com/p/bwGz0qTXpw, https://www.instagram.com/p/18N-nznm9R and https://www.instagram.com/p/qCCanYMHjq. And for what purpose? Because some people think it's necessary to accesorise with ivory. Of course, if you ask me, I prefer to accessorise with human skulls. You know, channelling McQueen and not forgetting that I'm Sarawakian. Ok lah, after all those depressing images, go check out and follow https://www.instagram.com/dswt -- they have the best pics of baby elephants.

If, like me, you're angered by human selfishness and idiocy, join me in raising some money to help EARS in their everyday pursuit to end violence against elephants. Through education and awareness, the world will be a better place. Because elephants can't speak for themselves, let us do our part and lend our ears. Ok, that's all.
