My Story

150 of Rohingyan refugees aged 4 to 14+ years old are struggling daily in a foreign country which is very alien to them, from having language barriers to receiving education that every single children in the world deserves. All hundreds of them are squeezed in a small house, the so-called an informal school located at Ampang, everyday, just to get to the opportunity to learn. However, they learn in an extremely unbearable condition; at an outdoor classroom with only a tent as a shelter. Even the kitchen space is used as one of the classrooms, which is stuffy and not conducive.

The school is also struggling financially. Everyday, they are thriving to make ends meet. They receive no help from any government organization nor the NGOs. Therefore, they rely solely on people's donation to sustain the school. On top of that, they lack of teaching manpower. Two of the teachers left due to lack of funding to pay their salary of RM 800 per month. Due to this, they are really in need and dependent on teaching manpower to teach the children in Darul Eslah.

We believe that each one of you have the power and capability to make a change in their lives. RM 10 of yours can help brighten 10 children's day when they're provided with bread for breakfast. All the money will directly be donated to the Darul Eslah Rohingya Academy.

These kids are not different from us, they are just like us, human beings who deserves education, love and care. This school is the only hope for the kids to have a better life.
