PKKUM works with the most vulnerable, marginalized, and socioeconomically disadvantaged communities.

The key focus of this fundraising is on the urban poor who has lost their sources of income during the COVID-19 pandemic.

This program is required fundraising as we need to complete our sewing workshop by purchasing 4 sewing machines, sewing tools and equipment, sewing magic ruler, irons and teaching staff fees.

This initiative will make a huge difference in their lives. We believe that with this program the participants are able to sell what they sew and able to generate additional income for their families. Not only that they will be able to save their money and sew their own clothing for themself and their families. We also want to save the families who are desperate to borrow financing from unlicensed loan sharks.

The Super Innovative Sewing Skills project educates and engages this community in the following areas ;

•  Teaching sewing of clothes - blouse, skirts creative craft items, traditional baju kurung and kebaya.
• Support through local mentoring 
• Social work intervention when necessary 
• Providing business training skills
