We are reaching out to you with immense enthusiasm and joy, sharing the hearwarming story of the Batu Ferringhi Community Library (BFCL). We are registered as Pertubuhan Perpustakaan Komuniti Batu Ferringhi (PPM-005-07-29042022), our humble library has been a beacon of light for the past two years.

Our mission extends beyond providing access to reading materials; we strive to create a nurturing environment that fosters literacy, connects with practical livelihood concerns, and celebrates the rich tapestry of social morality and culture. In the past two years, we have organised a remarkable 115 programs, including major programmes such as literacy and reading, marine diversity, leadership programmes and etc. The majority of which have been offered freely to our cherished community.

The heartening response from the community has been overwhelming. We have successfully engaged with the B40 group, stateless individuals, elderly residents, and marginalized members of our society, thanks to the diverse range of programs we offer. While currently operating only on weekends from 10:00 am to 6:00 pm, our library has become a haven for the youth, featuring engaging activities such as arts and crafts workshops, leadership programs, STEM workshops, literacy programs, career talks, and much more.
