and are fundraising for
Angkor Hospital for Children
We are raising money for AHC, a non-profit children’s hospital in Siem Reap that has been providing quality, compassionate healthcare to Cambodia’s children for 20 years!
My Story
We are the Non-Medical staff at AHC and we work in Finance, Purchasing, Logistics, House Keeping, Security, IT, HR, Maintenance and Registration.
We do not provide direct care to patients but we are behind the scenes in all aspects of the hospital, every single day. We know how important it is that medical supplies are on hand, that the ventilators are working properly, the floors are cleaned and the right patient file is ready for the appointment. We work tirelessly to make sure the hospital is clean, and that hygiene standards are maintained. We guard the gates to make sure the children are safe and queues are orderly. We make sure the electricity is on and the water is running otherwise so many other parts of the hospital just do not work!AHC treats around 500 patients every day and last year provided over 160,000 treatments.
