DEE1S1G1 are fundraising for Mount Miriam Cancer Hospital

My Story

We are diploma students from DEE1S1G1 Tunku Abdul Rahman University Management and Technology (TAR UMT). We have chosen Mount Miriam Cancer Hospital as our beneficiary in this project. Mount Miriam is a Cancer Hospital and it is located at 23, Jalan Bulan, Tanjung Tokong, 11200, Tanjung Bungah, Penang. The reason why Mount Miriam Cancer Hospital was chosen by our team is because we discovered that the cancer patients couldn’t afford the costly medical expenses as the treatment fees were quite expensive, so we think we have the responsibility to provide them with some financial support through this fundraising event. This fundraising event will start on 15 December 2022.    
As of now, Mount Miriam is now more focused on raising funds for cancer patients who could not afford their cancer treatment. We wish to raise at least RM1,000 at the end of this fundraising event. We hope that we can help hospitals upgrade medical equipment, provide patients with better treatment courses, and minimise the impact of cancer. We will contribute all of the funds to those cancer patients who are facing financial difficulties during their treatment.
