Here is Dun No - a 4 year old refugee from Myanmar living in Malaysia. Due to her special needs, she is confined to her bed and is unable to play with her 5-year-old brother and 7-year-old sister or take part in the activities a healthy 4-year-old would. Even though we can't give her the childhood she deserves, we are asking for your help to make her life a little brighter.
In addition to the regular expense of looking after Dun No, Covid-19 has put further pressure on her family's financial capabilities and we are asking for your help to support them in these trying times.
As one could imagine, taking care of a special needs child is no easy feat and requires a lot of love, time, and effort which can put a physical and mental strain on both the family and the child. That's why we would like to use any donations to support the family, as well as purchasing items like clothes and teddies to lift Dun No's spirits. Any help will significantly aid in relieving some of the emotional and financial stresses her family face on a daily basis
Although originally from Myanmar, Dun No and her family are living in Puchong. As our last project for this semester, Sunway International School's Activism Club is asking
you to give this family a hand.
Any donations are greatly appreciated.
