Yayasan Chow Kit's (YCK) mission is to protect the rights of all at-risk children and youth, provide them with safe havens, and expose them to as many positive and holistic opportunities as possible to enable them to reach their full potential.
YCK is currently in the process of acquiring a brand new building within Chow Kit/Klang Valley area.
Right now, YCK is based in four different buildings, Pusat Aktiviti Kanak-Kanak, KL Krash Pad, YCK Headquarters and an undisclosed safehouse.
Moving forward, YCK will be based in one central building that would house all the aforementioned, with the exception of the safehouse which will remain private.
As we begin this new journey to create a better, safer, and more conducive environment for our young beneficiaries, we are raising funds to help realise this new project.
With your support and donation, YCK can continue to do its good work protecting and helping every child feel safe, bring them education, and keep their bellies full.
What your donation go towards:
Your donation will go towards funding the renovation cost of our new place, which includes:
- Furnishing (Sofa, tables and chairs, pantry items (ie kettle, microwave),
- Computer lab and laptops, projectors,
- Air conditioning,
- Study tables and chairs (already donated),
- Photography lab (cameras),
- Toy Library and Library (Books and toys we will bring from our current centre).
- Computers for staff.
