We (and our children if applicable) are lucky to be who we are right now. Many people out there are in need of help. That’s one of the reasons I am going to participate as one of the presenters in the upcoming Zumbathon event. I will dance with more than 24 fellow instructors and 200+ Zumba lovers 😇 on Jun 17, 2023 (3-7pm) at Hong Kong Football Club. You are cordially invited to join me in this meaningful event. Meanwhile, if you are not free to join or not interested in dancing event, I would like to urge your kind donation helping out the unprivileged children and contributing to part of their growths. After a few years where big events couldn't be hosted, Angels Zumbathon is on again. I am participating to this 4 hours Zumba to raise funds for underprivileged children in Hong Kong. This event will raise funds to pay for extra curriculum activities and social support for children in Po Leung Kuk orphanage . Most of these children are coming from in complex family situations that brought them to be separated from their families and place under the care of an orphanage. While the government provides for their basic needs, there is no funds dedicated to their mind wellbeing and growth. They need fun and social support in their life more than anyone, and this is what we can offer them through this fundraising. All profits of this event will go to 2 programs already running to provide them this support. Thank you for your generosity help!

Many of you know my role with Angels for Children as the Chief Angel and know I am forever passionate about our work and keen to do our bit when times are tough for our chosen charity partners in Bali and Cambodia. So I have persuaded my family to get on board and join me in making a concerted effort by participating in a Virtual Walk to raise well needed funds.The charity needs to hit 7,038 miles/ 11,327 kms and the idea is to virtually walk from Hong Kong to Sunrise Cambodia, onto Bali Kids and back to Angels HQ in Hong Kong.Our Goals:-Raise funds to purchase nutritional supplements for the children of Bali Kids living with HIV/AIDS.-Raise funds for educational supplies to support the children of Sunrise Cambodia. We are Anne, Jeanice, Kim and Emilie and we didn't know each other but team up to support Angels for children Active Angels. We will hike, run, dog walk, swim and discovering the hidden treasures of HK. We set a goal of 200 km and 2000 hkd money raised during the month of March to support Angels for Children Active Angels. A team of Hillside Kindergarten educators are stepping up to the challenge to support the incredible charity 'Angels for Children' in their Move-A-Thon fundraiser. Throughout the month of March, we will be collectively walking, hiking and moving towards our goal of 1,000km. The funds raised are going towards purchasing nutritional supplements for the children of Bali Kids living with HIV/AIDS as well as educational supplies to support the children of Sunrise Cambodia. Bali is a place close to my heart. I have traveled there over the past 15 years many times, meeting the people, truly enjoying the culture and always feeling very welcomed. My jewelry is often made there and so have connections to the locals and local economy. There is an energy there of deep connection to each other and nature like no other place I have encountered. Although Bali has some of the most rich, supportive communities, they struggle to support all of their own and many people live in deep poverty. With COVID this situation has become even worse as locals rely on tourism for any income and this has disappeared. This fundraiser is helping to support Bali Kids, a medical outreach programme, taking vital healthcare and health education services to remote areas of the island.
