Social impact innovator ARK, Minnesotan-born gastronome Hidden Apron, the Philippine Student Association (PSA) at University of Minnesota - Twin Cities, and the Midwest Association of Filipino-Americans (MAFA) are joining forces to move the Midwest region to enable 5 rural communities to feed and keep over 1,250 kids in school for the next 3 years by giving them 1 million lunches.The highest-fundraising school will be able to send 1 representative on an immersive trip to ARK's partner communities in the Philippines, where he/she will be able to experience firsthand the impact of the #MIDWEST4MILLION movement. Other awards will also be given to schools based on fundraising outcomes.We'll celebrate our collective fundraising effort at the Midwest Filipino-American Summit on April 2, 2016.

The College of Mount Saint Vincent's SAMAHAN (Students At the Mount Advancing their Humanity And Nationality) is a Filipino student organization which aims to promote cultural and historical education to the college's Filipino population. It is a member school of FIND, Inc's District 3, which is comprised of metropolitan New York, Long Island, and northern New Jersey. Although majority of the organization's members are of Filipino descent, it truly embodies its name: in Tagalog, the word "samahan" conveys a sense of unity, togetherness, and accepting everyone as a part of a bigger family, which is a vital component of Filipino culture.

RAPS has partnered once again with Advancement for Rural Kids (ARK) to feed kids and keep them in school. This year, the participating teams are competing once again for the title of "Most Charitable." Who will win?ARK's $15 feeding program eliminates hunger, keeps students in school, and gives parents a chance to be involved and earn new income.
