My Story
Social impact innovator ARK, Minnesotan-born gastronome Hidden Apron, the Philippine Student Association (PSA) at University of Minnesota - Twin Cities, and the Midwest Association of Filipino-Americans (MAFA) are joining forces to move the Midwest region to enable 5 rural communities to feed and keep over 1,250 kids in school for the next 3 years by giving them 1 million lunches.
The highest-fundraising school will be able to send 1 representative on an immersive trip to ARK's partner communities in the Philippines, where he/she will be able to experience firsthand the impact of the #MIDWEST4MILLION movement. Other awards will also be given to schools based on fundraising outcomes.
We'll celebrate our collective fundraising effort at the Midwest Filipino-American Summit on April 2, 2016.
