Trees are the planet's lungs, taking up carbon dioxide and releasing oxygen that is necessary for life. They contribute to the delicate balance of ecosystems by giving several species home and food. Beyond their influence on the environment, trees provide an immense range of advantages; they are essential to maintaining human welfare. Trees are essential to the wellbeing of our planet and its people because they provide us with renewable resources, filter air pollution, stop soil erosion, and clean the air we breathe. The horrible reality is that the amount of trees on Earth is quickly declining due to widespread deforestation. There are terrible repercussions when large areas of woods are cleared for logging, urban growth, and agricultural expansion. As trees absorb and store carbon dioxide, a main greenhouse gas that causes global warming, their numbers are diminishing, and with them, so too is our defence against climate change. This loss has far-reaching consequences, including altered weather patterns, a decline in biodiversity, and heightened susceptibility to natural calamities.Trees are active players in the symphony of life on Earth, not only quiet spectators to our presence. We can guarantee a healthier and more green earth for future generations by acknowledging the seriousness of the problem and lending our support to campaigns aiming at conservation. As stewards of the natural world, let us collaborate to conserve and safeguard the quiet giants who have stood watch over our globe for ages.

Hello, I'm Noorul from WWF-Malaysia. Did you know that Malaysia is on the brink of losing two of four species of marine turtles: the leatherback and olive ridley turtles? We cannot let the remaining two species, hawksbill and green turtles become extinct. Sea turtles are important for maintaining the health of marine ecosystems which are needed for seafood and climate change mitigation as well as to sustain coastal communities and ecotourism. In addition, sea turtles are a part of Malaysia's rich history and culture. We need to take immediate action. You have the power to save our sea turtles by donating to us today! Thank you

Hi, I’m Rohgini from WWF-Malaysia. Sea turtles are one of the oldest reptiles on our planet. They are unique species which lay eggs on land but live in water. Sea turtles are threatened by poaching of their eggs, the adults and also loss of nesting and feeding habitats. The decreasing turtle population will affect our marine ecosystems, which will become unhealthy and impact our food resources. WWF-Malaysia works with government agencies, local communities and resort operators to monitor and patrol the beaches to protect our turtle’s eggs from poachers. We need your help to support our sea turtle conservation projects. So, help us save our turtles by donating today. Thank you.

Hi, I’m Iman from WWF-Malaysia.Did you know that our marine turtles are on the brink of extinction? Malaysian beaches act as great habitat for female turtles to lay eggs. However, it is estimated only 1 out of 1000 hatchlings make it to adulthood. Some major threats to our sea turtles include habitat loss as well as the poaching of eggs and turtles. If we do not take effective action now, we might lose our beautiful national heritage forever! Please join us in saving our marine turtles by donating to support our WWF-Malaysia marine turtle conservation projects all around Malaysia. Thank you.

Hello! We are a group of Sunway College Students from the A-Level Community volunteering with WWF-Malaysia to raise funds for the Bornean elephants that are found mostly in the Malaysian State of Sabah. They're the world's smallest known elephant sub-species.Alongside the great advancements in the modern era, there are also exploitation of land, which leads to the diminishing natural habitats of these unfortunate elephants. Moreover, there is also the constant logging of the forest and poaching of this species for their tusks. It is heartbreaking to see them put under these circumstances, paying for the price of human activities. There are only an estimated 1,500 of these precious elephants left in Borneo, and their population may be dwindling as we speak. Please do join us in this meaningful fund raising project to protect these elephants from being extinct. Any contribution will be valued by us and the elephants. We sincerely thank you for your offerings!

Hello, I'm Noorul from WWF-Malaysia. Do you know that Bornean elephants are known as gentle giants? Every parent is protective of their little ones, including Bornean elephants. They are fascinating as they form tightly knit social groups which teaches us the importance of family bonds, as well as having empathy for others and supporting each other through rough situations. Unfortunately, they are losing their habitats due to land conversion and are hunted down for their tusks. WWF-Malaysia and our partners are working to save these gentle giants by conserving their natural habitats and protect them from poachers. We need support from everyone, so please donate to us today! Hi, I'm Miza from WWF-Malaysia. Bornean elephants are gentle giants who care for their family and always protect their young ones just like we humans do. Although these elephants are a totally protected species in Sabah, however, these gentle giants are still threatened by poaching. Their tusks are being traded to fuel market demand for ivory, which is why poachers continue to kill them. Imagine if such cruel things happened to humans, we would never tolerate it. But what about these elephants? Ensuring their safety is our duty. WWF-Malaysia and our partners, including government agencies and NGOs, are working to save our Bornean elephants. Hi everyone, I am Murni from WWF-Malaysia. Are you aware that our Bornean elephants are an endangered species? Why do we have to save them? This is because Bornean elephants play a crucial role as forest gardeners. As the largest land mammals, they carry and disperse seeds far and wide as they travel from one area to another. This process helps spread new plants and regenerates trees in the forest. Imagine if there is no gardener, what would happen to our beautiful garden? Today, we urgently need your support to help save our Bornean elephants by donating to WWF-Malaysia. Thank you for your support!

Hi, my name is Rohgini from WWF-Malaysia. Elephants are the world's largest land animal and Malaysia is the home for the world’s smallest subspecies, the Bornean elephant. They are mostly found in Sabah with a small population in north Kalimantan. Our Bornean elephants are endangered. Due to previous land conversion and insufficient land use planning, their habitats are fragmented. While searching for food, they sometimes pass through populated areas and plantations, which causes human-elephant conflict. Sadly, they also lose their lives to poachers who hunt them for their ivory. Your donation will help WWF-Malaysia conserve our Bornean elephants by studying their movement and behavior so we can take steps to reduce human-elephant conflicts. Please donate today to save our Bornean elephants and their forest home. Thank you.

These majestic creatures are facing threats such as retaliatory killing due to human-elephant conflict. Why does this conflict take place between elephants and people? The main reason is fragmentation of their habitat due to land conversion and insufficient land use planning. Some landowners resort to retaliatory killing of elephants when their crops which are their source of livelihood, are destroyed. In order to mitigate human-elephant conflict, we need support from everyone. You can help save these majestic creatures by donating to us today! Thank you.

Hello everyone, my name is Miza and I'm from WWF-Malaysia. I am here to create awareness about illegal wildlife trade. Do you know that wild animals such as tigers, sun bears and more are being hunted for their body parts to be traded as skins, leather products and even sold as pets? We need these wild animals to keep forest ecosystems healthy. Healthy ecosystems provide us with clean air, fresh water, soil stability and help mitigate climate change. So if we do not stop illegal wildlife trade, we are also putting our own lives and health at risk as well as the lives of endangered species. Please help us fight illegal wildlife trade by donating to WWF-Malaysia today to save nature and ourselves! Thank you for your meaningful support.
