On Thursday 22 September a group of ten lawyers from my firm and ten of our clients will be flying to Borneo. Once there we will be biking 100km cross country in order to raise funds for our chosen charity: Singapore Children's Society. Although Singapore is a rich country, there are children who fall through the cracks in society and are greatly in need of financial support in order to put them on a level footing with the rest of us. As a firm we are firmly committed to helping the communities within which we work - and this is my part in giving something back this year. I am sorry to say that I am unlikely to be able to dazzle you with any broken records on my return ("training" has been on my to do list for months) but I can promise that I will try my hardest to complete the (very hilly) course in the punishing heat and humidity and that I will bring back photographic evidence. It's a great cause and all of the team really appreciate your generosity. In aid of the Singapore Children's Society, I'll be undertaking a challenging 100km mountain bike ride through the jungles of Borneo, along the foothills and valleys of Mount Kinabalu. Leaving for Borneo on Thursday 24th September, we hope to complete the adventurous route through a combination of mountain biking and jungle trekking by Sunday 27th. All donations are very gratefully received to help this fantastic charity!

The team members will leave for Borneo on Thursday 24th September and hope to complete the route through a combination of mountain biking and jungle trekking by Sunday 27th.
