Assalamualaikum dan salam sejahteraJune akan mengambil bahagian sebagai Pendaki Tahan -Mulu Klimb - Fight Against Cancer bersama team MAKNA (Majlis Kanser Nasional) pada tahun ini.Melalui pendakian kami, june harap dapat membantu untuk medapatkan sedikit dana bagi pesakit kanser yang memerlukan bantuan. I am a person who enjoys giving back to the community and participating in volunteer activities. At the same time, I am interested in providing moral and administrative support to cancer patients. With this programme, I hope to contribute something that will help them. Hi and Good Day to all!I have been with MAKNA for 5 years, 2 years been following Klimb Gunung Kinabalu and this year I will be joining Klimb Gunung Tahan. I am doing this for all cancer patient in Malaysia, and most important, for MAKNA Cancer Support Group.Ultimately, the climb is no comparison to the years-long battle with cancer faced by cancer patients. Nevertheless, the thriving mountain symbolically represents the pain and challenges undergone by patients; and to reach its summit depicts how they bravely overcome the ordeal. For that reasons, I am climbing and spread awareness about cancer for all to understand the battle faced by cancer patient.The cost of treating cancer are very high and not every person able to pay for the treatment cost and medicine they have to take. Cancer has unfortunately touched the lives of almost everyone in the world, whether directly or indirectly and the number of people continues to grow. Hi my name is Jelson and part of the MAKNA family as a volunteer since 2018. The purpose we initiate this event is to intend for raise some funds for cancer patients through our climb to Mulu, Sarawak. We HOPE with this small action may assist them by enlighten their burden by support their expenses in daily life and treatment as well. May your generosity will help many more underprivileged cancer patients and helping us to achieve our mission in raise funding by this event. Cancer? What it is actually? Yes, I don't know much about cancer before. I just thought it is a chronic disease and has shown increase of mortality rate. I have been in hospital for few years and faced with various kind of disease and I can see with my eyes how suffering the patient survive. But then, I'm not sure how the disease can affect the whole social life like cancer. Understanding cancer is for anyone who suspects they have cancer, or are already diagnosed with this deadly disease is quite though and complicated. When I step to MAKNA and I realize the cancer in a wide perspective which is every small thing can make a big difference. We gain all the effort to help poor cancer patients, their families, the community and organisation in order to create awareness and make sure anyone affect with cancer can survive. To climb or doing any outdoor activities is my pleasure all the time. But then when I'm decide to join KlimbTahan Mulu 2022 is not an easy things that I've made because I know I will climb for a cause, Klimb for Cancer. It's just like I brought all the responsibilities how to help cancer patients out there. Every step I've moved when I climb to inspire cancer patient/ survivor who keep survive their life in any way. Just wish them to keep move on together till the end. The moment I feel pain on my feet, the moment also remind me to embrace the pain and burn it as fuel to complete the journey. And again, I wish all cancer patient/ survivor to keep stepping till the end. Show us your support to cancer patient/ survivor and donate to save lives. Show Less
