BTS Manila started back in 2018 as a small project to reach out to more ARMYs in Metro Manila through different programs and events. The team started out with cupsleeve events around the España area that were held in small groups as the team was just starting at that period.As time passed, the team was able to launch a sister team (Youniverse Philippines - @YouniversePH_ on twitter) in order to fulfill more events to be able to cater to other ARMYs in other parts of the country. Bangtan Boys Philippines (BTSPH) was established on February 9, 2013 and it is the very first Philippine fanbase dedicated to the 7-member Korean idol group, Bangtan Boys aka BTS.Since its foundation, it has gradually and steadily gained members from all-over the country. ARMY of Lipa (AOL) is a Philippine fanbase for South Korean Group “BTS” and a Group Order account based in the province of Batangas. It was established in June 05, 2019 and is currently handled by four admins. It all started when we held our first event on June 8, 2019 to celebrate BTS’ 6th Anniversary and we didn’t expect to receive a lot of support and love from ARMYs. Since then, our team got inspired to start bringing BTS ARMY related events in our province. In two years, we managed to host several cafe events. We also had a chance to collaborate with some of the local fan bases here in the Philippines and fan sites internationally. It’s really fulfilling to organize small events like these where you can meet your co-ARMYs, make friends, hear their stories, talk about anything, hype up BTS together, and most importantly, make memories that each and everyone can treasure for a very long time.We’ve also done a few charity works and fundraising activities for a good cause. We hope through this, we were able and can continue to spread BTS’ message of positivity, hope, self-love and show how our idols made an impact on us. Some may argue it’s just music but the influence it has in our lives is priceless. Bangtan-OT7 group emerged last October 12, 2020. It started when seven (7) random individuals with diverse experiences happened to cross paths. These individuals although “different” yet they find commonality in BTS. As these individuals are inspired by BTS’ works, outstanding artistry, and skills in their craft on music, hence, they decided to form this group - BANGTAN-OT7. This group is not limited to ARMYs in the Philippines but to other international ARMYs as well. The group is created because they believe that just like other ARMYs (all around the globe), we are all interconnected through the healing and inspirational masterpiece that BTS brings as it resonates through their music, songs, and its meanings. Moreover, the group is constantly doing its best to bring relevant updates, announcements, stories about BTS and charity events. These include news, votes, videos, song releases, and other activities that are BTS-related. It is the official lightstick of the Korean boy group, BTS. A light stick plays an important role in the k-pop scene. The ARMY bomb represents our visual support to BTS, and us—ARMYs from all over the country and from the different parts of the world, coming together in order to give light to others' lives and create something beautiful. WINGS. These are the expression of the aspiration towards a higher goal and transcend anything in life. BTS said in one of their interviews, "Fans gave us the wings that allowed us to be where we are". The wings represent the very wings that BTS has made us grow and these are the wings that Team AGTJ will pass on to the people that need our uplifting. We only go up and achieve something in life by helping and lifting others, too. PURPLE GALAXY. The purple galaxy represents the love and happiness BTS has given ARMYs. It is also the love and happiness that we are and we will share to others. HANDS. BTS ARMY PH started as a Facebook Group (BTS A.R.M.Y. Philippines) in 2015, it gained over 100,000 members. We were established as a fanbase in February 2019. We started our first charity event on April 6, 2019, entitled “Summer Time with BTS and ARMY”. It is a fan gathering event to meet the members of the group and a percentage of the proceeds of the event was donated to UNICEF Philippines. The success of this event opened up the idea to create a Facebook Page on its own. BTS ARMY PH was born in April 2019, from there it started to provide updates and content about BTS, streaming parties, and many more. We've organized fundraising events to help organizations like Meritxell Children's World Foundation Inc., and to help the victims of the Taal Volcano eruption. In November 2020, BTS fanbases including BTS Army PH decided to do a donation drive to help the victims of the typhoons. We created “Bayanihan para kay Juan” - we were able to raise almost PHP 70,000. In total, the BTS fanbases were able to raise PHP 4M. And early this year of 2021, we have created charity events to help more beneficiaries in the Philippines.Our Mission and VisionTo inspire, celebrate BTS success, and most of all to unfold what we have all learned from BTS. To provide pertinent knowledge about BTS, to tirelessly support BTS, and continue to do charity work.
