在前几年前知道了 Locks of Hope 这一个专页，是为一些癌症病人筹集头发以制作假发。心里给自己的答案 ： 我的头发长了我也要捐出去!留了快3年的头发，就在前天 02042017 完成了它的任务~在剪的时候，身旁很多人都问：你留了那么长你舍得剪啊？我都给他们的答案是 ：那些化疗的病人在化疗过程中，一夜之间头发掉光光，他们很难接受。可是我们把头发剪了，还能再留长呀。所以有什么好舍不得的呢？有钱出钱，没钱出力。只要能尽到一份善举，能帮到别人之外，也能为自己积福，何乐而不为呢？

Therefore, we hoped that most of the cancer patients will be inspired that many people are supporting them through this event. Besides that, to help them to regain their confidence in life is also one of the main purposes of this event. Through this event, hair will be collected to make wigs for cancer patients and also to raise fund for wigs manifacturing. Purpose : To raise awareness of cancer, by providing a platform for Malaysians to donate their hair which would be turned into wigs for cancer patients going through chemotherapy. To fund raise for 10 wigs manifacturing, 1 wig cost RM 800.

“我叫欣洁，今年2年级，这是我第一次参与捐发活动，因为我要帮助癌患者，他们没有头发。虽然我的双脚不能走路，可是我可以以行动付出爱的表现，把握乌黑的长发捐出来。我的妈妈也是这样教导我，她也把她的头发捐出来，帮助癌患者。我和妈妈一起发挥爱心，以爱的行动献出爱心。哥哥姐姐们，你也一起来献出爱心哦！我也希望有很多爱心人可以捐钱帮助做假发给癌患者。”My name is Cheah Xin Jie, I am 8 years old, this is my first time joining hair donation campaign, I want to help those cancer patients because they loss hair. Although I can‘t walk, but I can still donate my hair, support cancer patients with love. My mother participated in hair donation too, she taught me to love and help the cancer patients by donating hair. I hope more people can support the cancer patients thru hair donation and fund raising for making wigs.

I donate my hair because i know how it feels to be bald because of cancer. Hair will definitly grow again and the feeling of giving hope and happiness to someone is much more important. Locks of Hope association gives a really good oppurtanity to contribute to them.

Undeniably hair is important to everyone, especially woman. A woman's hair remains a symbol of femininity and beauty. When a woman is losing her hair, her self-esteem is seriously affected. Frankly speaking, at first i am reluctant to cut my long hair as I love it so much. I am afraid to lose them. But then I realized that the same feeling goes to the unfortunate cancer fighters. Besides going through all kinds of suffering and pain throughout the journey fighting to live, they also lose their hair battling with cancer.Thus, in October 2015, I joined Locks of Hope Association hair donation campaign to donate my long hair. In September 2016, I donated my long fringe.As I know by contributing as a hair donor or a fundraiser in wig manufacturing, with a little help, we can help the cancer fighters to become pretty, happy and confident again.So, let's donate for a good cause. You can make a difference.

Hi everyone! My name is Yvonne Ten. I donated my hair in January 2016 to Locks of Hope. Everyone in this world are hoping to be good looking, so do cancer survivors. Instead of cutting your hair and leave it in the saloon, then the saloon will send it to ajinomoto factory to make ajinomoto, why not donate it to cancer survivors?Cancer survivors need our support to help them to fight over their cancer. So, if you have a long hair now, no matters what colour, or what type of hair you have, you can cut it and donate your wig to Locks of Hope. Trust me, after you donate your wig, your feeling is indescribable!

I have been keeping long hair for 11 years since secondary school. Short hair was never in my hairstyle list previously. I know how important a beautiful long hair is to all girls. But I understand that battle with cancer is not easy. Chemotherapy cause hair falls. Big courage needed.So, I decided to show my support to my loved one and all brave fighters !!! Simple act to donate hair for wig-making can bring hope ❤ Lets fight together ❤头发长短不重要，健康最重要!
