Please support us by giving your helping hand to build a new Buddhist Temple.
My Story
Hi!
Nanong is a name of a village in a very remote place, located in the far east of Bhutan. There are currently 26 households. All people are religious and faithful in noble cause and deed. New farm road came up just recently that connects nanong and pemagatshel, which is the main district town. It’s a four-hour drive by vehicle from Pemagatshel.
There has been no temple until now and the local residents have been facing difficulties during auspicious days, as there are no monks to perform religious activities and no spiritual teacher indeed who can guide them, though they are spiritual. This is the reason that we are indeed in need of one public temple here, where we can organize religious activities such as ritual puja, dharma teachings and so forth.
Fortunately, our Royal Government also approved the construction of one public temple. We have registered a seven-member-committee and few others more as volunteers to carry out and look after the temple construction.
But due to lack of fund, we are looking forward to generous people like you, who can support us by donating or sharing with your family and friends on the network to help us build the temple. We need to raise almost Sixty Thousand US dollars or equivalent to successfully build the temple. All the funds will go to support the construction of temple.
Your Name will be Honored You know that the temple is not an individual home, but instead it’s a place of faith, dwelling place of monks, place where monks pray for the benefit all sentient beings. It’s also a place to where faithful devotees make a visit and worship Enlightened Ones, accumulate merits by offering respect; dedicate and make prayers for the lived and deceased ones. So we assure every donor that we will honor and pray for your well-being and prosperity at all times. May every obstacle be pacified and all your wishes are fulfilled. And we will also engrave your name on a stone wall and erect it beside the temple.
You helping hand and generosity will greatly benefit 26 households in our village. Once the temple is built, local residents and monks can conduct religious activities, and also chant prayers for the world peace. With your support, they can also learn, understand and practice meditation and wholesome deeds under the guidance of a spiritual teacher.
We will individually inform all donors who have even donated a cent by email and on our facebook profile and here too with latest updates and photographs, what and how it’s going on with the construction, and also the financial accounts of the temple construction including how your donation has been used.
So please help us with any amount of donation you can give, to help us build the temple. We are counting on you hoping that you would definitely help us.
