My Story
I’m here to raise funds for the disadvantaged children, refugee children and urban poor because all the children have the right to learn everything they want as long as it is not harmful to them. However, not every parent can afford the fees of the programmes that can be beneficial for the children. Therefore, I’m raising the funds for MCRI in order to let MCRI develop programmes for the children at a lower rate, making it affordable for every child. The children shouldn’t just learn theories in school but also learn to apply the knowledge gained in their day to day lives. That is what MCRI aims to do! To give the opportunity to each child to get access to knowledge that they can implement each day that will enable them to make better choices. Besides that, MCRI also develops practical programmes to let the children have more hands-on activities in order to enhance their daily living skills and soft skills such as teamwork.
The programmes include;
· Menu Planning and Nutrition Class
· Speech and Drama Class
· English Reading and Writing Workshop
· Kids’ Philosophy Class
· Young People as Researchers Programme
· Read-aloud Programme
· Personal Safety Programme
· Making Gingerbread Cookies

親愛的朋友，
我们正在為较貧困的孩子们籌款以便可以讓他們去學習更多不一樣的技能， 其實所有的孩子都有權利去學習任何他們想要學習的技能，但并不是所有父母都有能力可以承担孩子們學習的費用，因此MCRI才有了為孩子們籌款的想法與行動。 通過這項活動，MCRI能以較低的收費舉辦各種活動，父母因而可以負擔起孩子们去學習各種不同的技能所需的費用。 孩子們不應該被限制于課業上的成績，他們也應該要學習生活上的技能。這就是MCRI所提倡的！讓每個孩子都有平等的機會去學習。MCRI也舉辦了一些實踐型的活動，讓孩子們可以直接動手體驗與參與課外技能，以期達到加強生活技能和軟性機能（團隊精神）的目的。
該活動包括：
