What can I fundraise for?
You can fundraise for almost any personal need, including medical illnesses, disability, disaster relief, social welfare, human rights, and so much more. Can I fundraise for someone else?
Yes most certainly! However, we may ask you to verify your relationship with the beneficiary.
Do you accept personal fundraisers from any country?
While you can raise funds for any personal project in any country on the world, as a personal fundraiser, you should be based in one of the following countries to launch a fundraising appeal on our site - Singapore, Malaysia, Hong Kong, Philippines and Indonesia.
Can I receive donations from any country?
Yes! Donations can be made through credit card and is accepted in 17 major currencies. Donors based in Malaysia can also donate through direct bank transfer.
What happens after I create my fundraising appeal?
After your fundraising appeal has been created, you can use our social media tools to share it on Facebook, Twitter, WhatsApp, Instagram, and even Email. The more people that know about your campaign, the higher the chance of success! SimplyGiving will also select some appeals to publicize through our Facebook Page and Newsletter subscribers.
What are your charges?
We do not charge any upfront fees. However, to maintain our technology and to enable us to continue to deliver a world-class solution for you, we do charge a small service fee of 5% on donations collected by your campaign. For more details, please click here.
How and when will I receive my funds?
We remit funds directly to personal fundraisers twice a month. Funds that are raised between the 1st -15th of each month will reach you early next month. Similarly, funds that are raised from the 16th till the end of the month, will reach you by the middle of the next month.

While most other personal crowdfunding sites do not verify the appeals that are put on their site, SimplyGiving conducts verification checks on selected personal fundraisers appeals. We do this to protect the interests of our donors.
