Migrant workers are under represented, currently their dormitories are overcrowded and unsanitary. Never forget they have families too.

Xana:
I am a student in Singapore who attended a workshop with migrant workers. We had deep conversations about what their lives were like while doing an activity together. As they shared their experiences and funny stories in the dormitories, I was curious about what they bunked in and asked for pictures.

Sadly, I was unsurprised that there were too many people allocated to a single toilet. Questioning further, they mentioned that soap dispensers were inadequate and sometimes the flush system did not work. This led to strong smells entering their living areas. Additionally, some were put off when injured and had to work with a break in the arm. Their injuries should be taken seriously.

Unfortunately, migrant workers work for business organisations who seek to maximise profits, hence I hope to aid the scheme which helps them when these businesses neglect to care for them.
