My Story
We
have found, within the community at Desa Mentari, Sunway, many single mothers or women who's husbands do not work
and/or contribute to the household expenses for various reason such as sickly
husbands, drunks and etc. These mothers work two or even three jobs just to
make ends meet but often face the difficulty of not being able to care for their children.
We have since introduced the Quilled Calendar Project which allows these single mothers to work from home and take care of their children at the same time.
