It's been a tough year for all of us, but especially for our teacher Lily, her son and her family. I want to help them. Will you support us?
My Story
my name is Ellie and I am ten years old.
I'm raising funds to support Alfie's medical care. Alfie has a rare condition called aplastic anemia (bone marrow disease).
For that, I'm joining some of my classmates on an open water swim challenge, to raise awareness on Alfie's disease, to raise funds for his medical care and to close this school year by working hard together for a good cause.
I have now been training for 3 or 4 weeks and I've realised that swimming in the sea is surprisingly harder mentally than physically.
