My Story
In January 2015, we had one of our most memorable adventures as a couple as we hiked the Himalayas. Four days may not seem too long, but besides a dozen million steps, Nepal was able to show us its natural beauty and its people who are among the most humble, persevering and hospitable people you'll ever meet. Barely three months after our visit, Nepal was shaken by a powerful earthquake which killed thousands, many of them children. Countless establishments were ruined including schools.
As we get married this January 2017, we would like to give back to the friendly people of Nepal by raising funds with The Future Village Foundation to support the education of impoverished children in rural Nepal. We know we could reach $2000 with your help!
