Hello Everyone!
We're proud to introduce to you, StepByStep, a crowdfunding project organised by a group of students from Heriot Watt University Malaysia.
Many of us are incredibly blessed to have basic human needs: a roof over our heads, food on our table, and basic healthcare. However, not everyone is as fortunate as you and me. Hence, we believe that it is time for a change! Through our project, our goal is to raise funds that can lighten up the lives of people in need by helping them one step at a time.
Our logo is the perfect illustration of our purpose for this project. The circle symbolises Earth, the beautiful world we live in whereas the footsteps embody the act of kindness by mankind one step at a time (accompanied by our furry friends of course!).
Working together with our beneficiary, Persatuan Kebajikan Ti-Ratana, Malaysia (Ti-Ratana Welfare Society), we are able to align our goals with their vision and mission which is to ultimately become a Sanctuary of HOPE, SHARING, CARING and GROWTH for anyone in need of care or support. Established since 1997, they have created endless opportunities and care to the needy of all ages regardless of race and creed. ALL funds raised through our project will go towards Ti-Ratana in lighting up the lives of the needy. You can find out more about them here: https://www.ti-ratana.org.my/
