Virtualahan
is a social enterprise based in the Philippines that enables people to work
online as home-based professionals through skills training and employment
support. We are taking advantage of the power of the internet and the growing
outsourcing industry in the country to maximize employment opportunities for people
who are vulnerable to employment or workplace discrimination.
It is designed to help people who have less access to jobs because of their
medical condition, disabilities, or former life including single parents and
unemployed youth. We train these people to provide virtual assistant services
to busy professionals, startups, and NGOS across the globe.
In the process, we are building a support group to help our beneficiaries step
into their bigness. Our goal is to promote inclusive and sustainable economic
growth, full and productive employment, and decent work for all.
