My Story

Here to Hear is a dedicated team of 9 passionate students from Heriot-Watt University who share a common goal – to make a positive impact in the lives of the deaf community and raise awareness about their unique challenges. Our mission is to contribute to the well-being of the community, promote inclusivity, and create a more understanding and supportive environment for individuals with hearing impairments. The primary focus of our crowdfunding project is to raise funds for a reputable organization dedicated to Malaysia Federation of The Deaf (MFD). Our goal is to support initiatives such as providing resources for accessible education, fostering deaf-friendly workplaces, and enhancing overall well-being. By supporting this cause, we aim to assist in breaking down barriers, promoting awareness about the importance of inclusivity, and facilitating positive change within the deaf community. Through engaging events like workshops, discussions, and challenges, we plan to create an interactive platform that not only raises funds but also encourages a broader understanding of the challenges faced by the deaf. Join us on this meaningful journey as we strive to make a lasting impact on the lives of the deaf community.
