and is fundraising for
Metta Welfare Association
Let's put our feets and pockets together to fundraise for Metta Welfare Association's beneficiaries from the young to the elderly!! If you can't join us to run in the Metta Charity Run 2015, you may chip to help by donating your share.
My Story
As part of Siemens Pte Ltd’s corporate philanthropic initiative, we hope to help Metta in its fundraising efforts and raise a total of $5,000 for the less privileged in the community.
Metta currently provides the following services:
- Disability Care – residential care, respite care, day activity care and training for the intellectually disabled.
- Medical care – home hospice care for the terminally ill, day rehabilitative services for elderly and stroke patients.
- Children Care – early intervention for children with developmental delays, learning difficulties and intellectual disabilities.
- Alumni Care – vocational training, employment assistance and support for graduates of Metta School.
- Special Education – special education and vocational training for children with mild intellectual disability and/or autism; and
- Others – welfare services required by the community.
