My Story

The Valera family is counting down the days until our vacation to the Philippines this December. We are very excited to be with family and friends whom we have not seen for a long time, 8 years to be exact. Along with our girls, we decided to make this trip more meaningful by doing a fundraiser for the street kids of Manila. We chose Childhope Asia Philippines as our charity because they see the situation of children working and/or living on the streets which is a clear violation of the rights of children.While on the streets, these children are exposed to very harsh and dangerous elements. They suffer from hunger, cold, sickness, abuse, and exploitation. Among the street children, the street girls are the most vulnerable to maltreatment, sexual abuse and exploitation (ChAP).
We want to support them in their mission of taking these kids out of the streets and try to give them decent and happy childhood. Please help us raise funds and hopefully see smiles back to these kids faces.
