ACRES Wildlife Warrior is the first and only running group in Singapore that runs in support of Wildlife protection. Last year, we successfully raised 5k at the Standard Chartered Marathon to help with ACRES 24-Hour Wildlife Rescue efforts. This year, we aim to raise 10k to save the Singapore Monkeys. The Singapore monkeys (long-tailed macaques) are in urgent need for help. They faced various obstacles just to make it out alive each day. Funds are needed to embark on projects and campaigns that will stop the killing of monkeys and provide humane, alternative ways for humans and monkeys to co-exist. Because running is symbolic of life, we are using it as a platform to help the voiceless.
