Hello, I am a student hoping to spread awareness about shark conservation as it is very alarming to see the rapid rate of the decrease in sharks around the world. That is why I am supporting HKSF for its mission of saving sharks before they go completely extinct. 

In Hong Kong, many enterprises and companies are still selling shark fins as shark fins soup is considered a symbol of luck and wealth. It is not only happening in Hong Kong but is also used in many other countries like Japan, Thailand, etc. 

Sharks are an important marine animal in the ecosystem in the ocean, without them, the ecosystem in the sea would be unbalanced. It is unfortunate that sharks get a bad reputation from movies and TV shows, I, a mere student, would love to save the sharks before they go extinct and I'm sure a lot of other newer generations would not want to miss out on beautiful creatures like the great sharks.
