Thakars are fundraising for Singapore Cancer Society

We have taken a pledge to raise funds for supplying 100 patients on hospice care with a month of milk, diapers, and medicinal supply. Cancer is the second leading cause of death globally, and is responsible for more than 10 million deaths every year. Help cancer fighters fight cancer. Save a life.

My Story

Just in the last 5 years, we have lost a few of our close friends and a number of acquaintances to cancer. Some of them can afford to give their loved ones a comfortable goodbye, some can't. Some choose to terminate care as it gets unaffordable.

It doubles their pain to see loved ones in their last days, and not to be able to provide even basic care. We cant take away their pain - but we can give some support - even if its just a feed of milk a day or a change of diaper, or support in medicines.
