My Story
We are a group of 31 Diploma in Information Technology Year 1 Sem 3 students at Tunku Abdul Rahman University College (TARUC). According to an estimation made by World Health Organization (WHO) in 2019, around 7.4 million children under the age of 15 died due to preventable or treatable causes such as starvation, diseases and even abusement. The child mortality rate in Malaysia is also increasing. We realize that most of these cases are due to financial problems faced by the children’s household. Thus, we decided to organize a fundraising to collect donations for the United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF) Malaysia to help unfortunate and impoverished children. We sincerely hope that everyone can support our initiative by donating to UNICEF Malaysia. As Aesop, a Greek fabulist once said “No act of kindness, no matter how small, is ever wasted”.
