Oundle - 100 km Maclehose Trail for Food Angel

FA 100K Challenge are fundraising for Bo Charity Foundation Limited

5 pupils from Oundle School are going to hike the full 100 km Maclehose Trail in 4 days in order to raise 20,000 HKD (around £2000) in support of Food Angel. We urge you to join us in supporting Food Angel, which has made a meaningful impact in the lives of the underprivileged in Hong Kong. In a city where 20% of the population live below the poverty line, Food Angel produces over 20,000 nutritious meals every day and recycles 45 tonnes of food waste every week. By supporting Food Angel, we are trying to support the community at both ends of the age spectrum - so children can have access to nourishing meals and so the elderly are supported.

My Story

We have decided to embark on the physical and mental challenge of the 100 km Maclehose Trail, conquering it despite the blazing sun and humid air. This trip will be a rediscovery of what it means to live in Hong Kong, as we leave the urban environment to uncover its beautiful, hidden landscapes. We hope this trip will inspire others to take a breath of fresh air, providing an haven in the midst of the stressful and fast-paced Hong Kong work life.
