NYAWA is a youth-led and youth-ran registered non-profit organisation. Our vision is to build communities and spaces that value mental health and provide equitable, quality mental health services. We aim to do this in a holistic and integrated manner via:
- Empowerment of the public with awareness on mental health issues
- Advocacy and advancement of sustainable and evidence-based mental health policy reforms
- Improvement of mental health understanding and delivery through independent, objective, non-partisan research
We have also recently obtained official collaborator status with the Ministry of Health (MoH), Malaysia.
