Due to the recent pandemic, the homeless and low income population of Hong Kong have suffered hard. Food prices have shot up and charities have not been receiving as many donations and supply chains have been disrupted.
"Heart-to-Heart", of which I am an ambassador is a fundraising initiative led by a group of Hong Kong secondary and high school students who are passionate about tackling Hong Kong’s food poverty. The initiative hopes to raise enough funding to purchase 200 foodlink care packages to send to those in need. A package costs 100 HKD and includes food, drinks as well as hand sanitiser.
