Love is an Action Ltd

If you love something, take action before you lose it. I love the ocean and enjoy it as much as my job will allow me. I dive in it, kayak, snorkel, boat and and swim in it. It gives me pleasure, relaxes my mind and eases my soul.

I started Love is an Action because, as an actionist, I wanted to look after the one thing I love the most, our oceans. Thanks to a small team (due to Covid-19), of incredible volunteers, we are making a difference and offering hope to our oceans, but we need your help.

We know everyone cannot join us on a beach cleanup but you can help us with our awareness and education programs. I am happy to come and visit your workplace, offer an environmental audit and/or arrange a team building event, or maybe you and your organisation would consider a contribution to our efforts.

We are excited to create socially responsible programs that bring communities together. The social impacts of our activities on the social fabric of communities and their health are outlined below.

We strive for the greater good of communities we work with, ensuring they are more aware of:

Health - Removing the hazardous and toxic effects of marine waste and offering involvement and understanding of healthier choices with the development of sustainable hydroponic ‘hubs’
Environment – Generating awareness and respect for our environment and community pride through ‘hands-on’ events
Conservation – Continuous focus on sustainability both in the food chain through The Green Fringe and environmentally through the Adopt-a-Spot program
Technology – Use of The Litter Club mobile app to identify rubbish not spots, notify community groups and local governments of the issue and rectify by uploading data of litter collected. This data can be used to drive change in policy.

We can save our oceans and the lives they support, but it takes action.

Thanks, Josh (Founder)
