This is the official fundraising page for Austin “Danger” Metro, one of the competing teams in this year's Mongol Rally. The team is composed of three British adventurers: Hong Kong-based father-and-son duo Ian “Danger” De Witt, and Henry-Morgan “A Bit Dangerous If He Hasn’t Eaten” aka “Harry” De Witt (…until such time as Harry gets bored and abandons his father for the sun of Greece with his friends, and who can blame him, if indeed the car gets that far), and Ian’s Singapore-based friend (and Harry’s god father) Andrew “Not So Dangerous Really aka Toots Magoots” Martin. Driving 15,000kms in in a 30 year old 988cc Austin Metro, the team comprising a 6’5 student and middle aged (and arguably mildly overweight) lawyers with no mechanical ability between them whatsoever are confident in the British engineering and craftsmanship that made the Metro, indeed, what could possibly go wrong. In embarking on this race the team are hoping to raise funds for Maggie’s Cancer Caring Centre in Hong Kong, Singapore’s Yellow Ribbon Fund  and UK-based Cool Earth.
