Good Neighbors (GN) is an international humanitarian development NGO founded in Korea. We focus on providing children education, community development, health, water and sanitation, and humanitarian relief in 35 countries around the world. In 1996, GN obtained a General Consultative status with the United Nations Economic and Social Council (UN ECOSOC). And in 2007, it was granted with a Millennium Development Goals (MDG) award from United Nations for its achievements in universal primary education. In 2008, Good Neighbors International Philippines (GNIP) was established with the goal of improving the lives of Filipinos, especially of the children, through child sponsorship and community development programs. Good Neighbors supports the stable and self-sufficient development of a community through projects focused on sponsorship, education, health, water, sanitation and hygiene, income generation, energy and environment, and disaster risk reduction and management. In 2015, GNIP gave birth to its daughter organization, Good Neighbors PHL Inc. (GN PHL). The organization is established as the local arm of GNIP mandated to do resource mobilization, advocacy, research and development, and implementation of sectoral programs mentioned above.
