Manila Water Foundation

Manila Water Foundation (MWF), the social responsibility arm of the Manila Water group of companies in the Philippines, is guided by it vision to become the enabler of change that will uplift the quality of life of Base of the Pyramid (BoP) communities, the poorest of the poor, through sustainable access to water and used water services.

Upon its establishment in 2005, MWF carried out its vision in a holistic approach by giving low-income communities access to clean and potable water, educating them on proper water use and sanitation, and allowing them to have sustainable livelihood to be able to keep up with the costs of having their own water lines. This gave birth to the 3 focus areas that encapsulate all the programs that MWF has been championing up to this day: (1) Water Supply and Sanitation, (2) Water Education, and (3) Community Assistance and Livelihood.

MWF is a legitimate non-government organization duly registered under the Philippine Securities and Exchange Commission, certified as a donee institution by the Philippine Council for NGO Certification, and recognized as an auxiliary social development agency by the Philippine Department of Social Welfare and Development.
