Barefoot is a student-led initiative supporting UNICEF Philippines as a children’s rights advocacy organization. It is composed of a set of diverse individuals from different backgrounds of business, health, science, and the arts, who have come together under one advocacy. Like UNICEF Philippines, we envision a country where all children enjoy their rights and have a bright future within caring and protective families and communities. Our core advocacy is to provide sustainable contextualized assistance—both structural and formative—for children in rural communities. As such, our projects are designed to foster sustainable, lasting impacts and changes in our partner communities.
