Melizza Guiao is fundraising for World Vision Development Foundation, Inc.

Hi, two years ago, some of you overwhelmingly supported my crowdfunding for the people of Marawi. This year, I have once again made a decision to donate my birthday and will not be accepting any gifts! So if you want to celebrate my birthday or want an excuse to donate to a meaningful cause this is your moment. My chosen beneficiary is for the impoverished Filipino children and families through World Vision Philippines.

My Story

Have you come to a point in your life that you feel so blessed by God amidst life's challenges? Have someone touched you with kindness and  you have that urge to pay it forward but does not exactly know how.  This I hope will bring you to PAUSE and to ACT.

When you give where it’s needed most you’ll help Filipino children and their communities rise above poverty. Because it’s life-changing when you finally have clean water, get the right kind of food, feel safe, learn in a classroom, or grow spiritually and discover that you are loved, known and cared for.

World Vision,  with more than 60 years in the Philippines, is a Christian non-profit humanitarian organization dedicated to caring for children and building sustainable communities.  World Vision helps over 1.5 million children every year, with the support of thousands of Filipino sponsors and donors.  WIth your online support, your donation  will go directly to World Vision for financial accountability and transparency.  

My World Vision journey started way back in 2001 that led me to sponsor a child from Isabela until he graduated in high school. Since then I have continued the journey of not only sponsoring children, but also of encouraging others to sponsor one.  My 18 years relationship with World Vision has been of trust and fulfillment, and I want you to experience it as well.
