Dedicating my birthday to raising awareness for colorectal cancer, and Colorectal cancer screening especially in Malaysia.

My Story

Colorectal cancer is the most common cancer among Malaysian males (the second most common cancer after breast cancer), and also one of the leading cause of death in Malaysia. And nearly 75% of colorectal cancer are diagnosed at a late stage (with close to 40% diagnosed at stage 4 - Metastatic disease!) 
You often won’t have any symptoms until it’s too late, hence the purpose of colorectal screening test - to catch ‘em early. There are different screening tests available depending on your risks, including Faecal Occult Blood Test - which is a non-invasive testing - just providing a stool sample!
