Hope Givers To Blinds is participating in Heriot-Watt University Malaysia EmPOWER 2023
and are fundraising for Persatuan Bagi Orang Buta Malaysia (Malaysian Association for the Blind)

It is not about how much you give but the love you put into giving! With your support and our teamwork, we believe that we will be able to bring positive impact to those who are visually impaired.

My Story

Our team, Hope Givers To Blinds consists of 10 passionate and empathetic students from Heriot Watt University Malaysia. Blind people in this world still face many issues such as lack of emotional support, unemployment, and more.

Hence, we decide to work on a project called "Warm ray in darkness" that aims to raise public awareness of the importance of eye health while also highlighting the necessity of providing more education and employment opportunities for blind people so that they can contribute to the country and pursue good quality life. We also hope to improve their skills to accommodate the rapid change of the world.

We will run a few campaigns such as fundraising bazaar and product selling activity to raise money for the Malaysia Association for The Blind (MAB), which may then be used to give blind people access to more comprehensive educational opportunities or facilities that will help them feel cared for and appreciated.
